Peron

Terms of Use

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

These terms apply to the Peron iPhone app, the websites at peron-app.com and the Peron beta programme (together, "Peron"). Peron is made by XOD Group, medijska produkcija in marketing, d.o.o., Tržaška cesta 132, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia, registration no. 9953671000, VAT ID SI41225716 ("XOD Group", "we", "us"). Contact: info@xodagency.com.

By using Peron or signing up for the beta, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Peron. How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

2. The service

Peron shows live train information: delays, departure and arrival times, platforms, replacement buses, notices and changes. It can send you alerts and keep a record of your trips in your rail passport.

Free. Peron is free to use. If we ever introduce paid features, we will tell you before anything is charged, and paid features will have their own terms.

Beta. Peron is currently in a closed beta, distributed through Apple's TestFlight. Beta versions may contain bugs, change or stop working, and may lose data. Apple's TestFlight terms also apply. A place in the beta is not guaranteed, and we may end the beta at any time.

Feedback. If you send us feedback, ideas or screenshots, we may use them to improve Peron without paying you or naming you.

Independent. Peron is not connected to, endorsed by or operated by Slovenske železnice, Deutsche Bahn or any other railway company. Train operators are responsible for their trains, tickets and passenger rights, not us.

Where it works. Peron currently covers passenger trains in Slovenia. We may add other countries over time.

3. How accurate the information is

Peron's information comes from public timetable and real-time data published by others, combined with our own estimates. We work hard to make it right, but we cannot guarantee it is complete, current or correct.

4. Your account and fair use

You sign in with Apple. Keep your Apple ID secure; you are responsible for what happens under your account. You can stop using Peron and delete your account at any time.

Please use Peron for your own travel. Don't:

If you break these rules, we may suspend or end your access.

5. Intellectual property and data sources

The Peron app, website, design, name and logo belong to XOD Group. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Peron for your own travel, under these terms. You keep all rights to your own content, such as your trips and passport.

Timetable and real-time data belong to the organisations that publish them. We credit the sources and the date of the last timetable update in the app, under Settings › Data, as their licences and EU rules on travel information require.

Names of railway companies, stations and lines are used only to describe the trains Peron covers. They belong to their owners and do not mean that those companies are connected to Peron.

6. Liability, ending and changes

Liability. Peron is a free information service, provided as it is and as available. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss caused by information in Peron or by Peron being unavailable, such as a missed train or connection, extra travel costs or lost time. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it, including for harm we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, or for death or personal injury. If you are a consumer, you keep all rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived.

Ending. You can stop using Peron at any time and delete your account in the app. We may suspend or end Peron, the beta or your access, for example if you break these terms. If we end Peron, we will give reasonable notice where we can, so you can keep your trip history, which stays in your iCloud.

Changes. We may update these terms as Peron changes. We will post the new version with its date and, for important changes, tell you in the app or by e-mail before they take effect. If you keep using Peron after that, the new terms apply.

7. Law, disputes and contact

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Slovenia. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country.

If something goes wrong, write to us first at info@xodagency.com; most problems are solved that way. Courts in Ljubljana have jurisdiction, unless consumer law lets you bring a claim in the courts where you live.

[Out-of-court dispute resolution: TO DECIDE, see notes]

If one part of these terms is found invalid, the rest still applies.
